t's not too often Hip Hop artists settle their conflicts over Twitter. That particular online medium seems to be reserved for flaring public beefs rather than squashing them, which is why Wale and Kid Cudi's public peacemaking comes as a surprise.
The two crossed wires last September when Wale mentioned Cudi in a song. Cudi shot back in Complex Magazine by calling his DC-based peer "a simple-ass rapper." Both artists addressed the beef, but never attempted to make amends until now.

Lil Wayne in copyright trouble
If you haven't heard about Lil Wayne's copyright troubles, then let me inform you. Recently accusations came up that the beat for Wayne's hit song "Ms. Officer" had been already used by Michael "Mali Boy" Bradford. Bradford filed the suit back in January 2009 claiming that he had originally made the beat five years prior to its release. Producer Deezle had apparently reworked the beat, originally titled "Popeye," for Wayne's Tha Carter III and received all of the credit for its production.Bradford isn't the only person suing Weezy for "Mrs. Officer." Apparently, Deezle is also suing Weezy F. for $2.5 million worth of royalties for the very same song.

Album to cop: Free Agent by Joell Ortiz
You probably haven't heard much of Joell Ortiz, but his new album should make a name for himself. His new album "Free Agent", is a very good album for modern day hip hop for sure. Extremely good lyricism and good variety when it comes to flows and the overall mood of his songs. In my opinion this shows what modern day hip hop should be geared towards.
